Where would we be without the amazing Billy & Bo who literally worked their magic at the Elite Model Look UK 2012 National Castings transforming the contestants into true supermodels - the girls sported sleek up do's coiffed to perfection, whilst boys were given a sharp new style to complement their gorgeous looks!

All we know is that we have never seen a more skilled pair of hands!

Elite Model Look 2012 || The Food Doctor

One of the first things we advise new models on is to treat their bodies well and healthy, and by that we mean keeping a healthy and balanced diet. Luckily our amazing partners The Food Doctor are always on hand with providing our models with tasty + model-friendly treats that our models adore!

Elite Model Look 2012 || Fiji Water

Elite Model Look 2012 || National Casting - Girls

The day we have all been waiting for has finally arrived – the eagerly awaited Elite Model Look 2012 UK National Casting! On Saturday 14th July we have greeted our fabulous semi-finalists at The Crypt – our chosen venue in St James Church in EC1 for a day-long of pampering, makeovers & catwalks! The girls also had the chance to meet all the judges: the CEO of Elite London Michelangelo Chiacchio together with director France Chiacchio, LOOK Beauty’s Sophie Beresiner, Jill Walness from Look Magazine & Victoria Dasilva from Elite Paris.

We were also excited about being united once again with the lovely LOOK Beauty friends, who were as per usual equipped with luscious LOOK Beauty treats used to enhance the girls’ striking looks and make them virtually catwalk-proof.

Sleek up do’s the girls were sporting were a courtesy of the amazing Billy&Bo who did a fantastic job at ensuring that the girls looked like catwalk-divas, whilst the LOOK Beauty team worked their magic at transforming them into true supermodels.

As the sounds of clutter filled the entire room from girls strutting around in high-heels practicing their walks, the catwalk routines were nailed down to perfection! And if that wasn’t enough to make them feel like complete supermodels, our fab semi-finalists were taken down to studios for a photoshoot before rocking the catwalk in front of our panel of judges!

Words cannot express how excited we are for all the girls who have made this year’s Elite Model Look UK, and we hope you stay tuned for an official announcement and images of our fabulous finalists on here shortly!

Elite Model Look 2012 || National Casting - Boys

YES, we have made it - six shopping centres, thousands of online applicants and a handful of festivals, all in aim to discover our Elite Model Look 2012 superstars!

On Saturday 14^th July we held the highly-anticipated semi-finals where the number of contestants was narrowed down to the selective few finalists who will continue on to compete for their chance to win a contract with Elite as well as the amazing all-expense trip to the Milan Fashion Week and walk for some of the biggest names in the fashion industry!

Our semi-finalists indulged in a full day of grooming followed by photoshoots, and after receiving training on their model-walks, the boys were officially catwalk-ready to strut their stuff for the judges! On the men’s judging panel we had Eddie Martin – a casting director at File & Parade, and our very own head of Men’s division Charlie Clarke and Men’s booker Holly Hargreaves, who all did a fantastic job at selecting the finalists for the next month’s Elite Model Look UK 2012 National Finals. Needless to say, the calibre of boys competing in this year’s EML National Casting was simply out of the world - our judges were struck with quite possibly the hardest decision-making ever as they prepared to announce the finalists they believed had what it takes to go through to the next stage. And boy, did they do a good job or what??! Quite easily the strongest finalists we have had so far!

We just think that the EML National Finals simply can’t come quick enough so we can see them all again!
