Elite Model Look 2012 - Bootcamp DAY 2

It's day 2 of the Elite Model Look bootcamp and our 24 finalists experience yet another day of model life; From working out at Pineapple Dance Studios, to being taught everything then need to know about healthy habits by nutritionist & model Sybille Gebhardt, and then attending their first ever casting... And of course, there's always that all-important catwalk training.

Early on Tuesday morning, we sent our models to sweat it out at Pineapple Dance Studio's with celebrity choreographer Mark Battershall who created a 5-minute dance workout specially tailored for the Elite Model Look 2012. The boys and girls did some intensive workout to strengthen and stretch muscles, as well as some freestyle dance which was designed with an aim to boost models' confidence and prepare them for ‘the unexpected’ at castings.

Following a healthy dosage of exercise, our fit, fierce & flexible finalists then went off to a nutrition class at a model apartment with a top nutritionist Sybille Gebhardt who taught them how to generate a healthy attitude toward looking beautiful with a specially formed cookery class. The aspiring models were able to discuss healthy eating habits as well as sample various easy-to-make meals made only with highly nutritious superfoods that naturally provide an abundance of benefits to models’ health.

The model bootcamp didn’t stop there; our little super-team of models were scheduled in for their first ever casting – the boys went to the Elite London HQ to meet one of industry’s leading men’s casting director Adam Hindle, as the girls reached for the sky at one of London’s prominent skyscrapers that is the Blue Fin building, home to IPC Media where they met the ladies behind the LOOK Magazine and LOOK Beauty brands.

Equipped with their personal Elite portfolios, both boys and girls were placed in a real-life casting environment where they had to pull out all the stops in order to impress their clients.

The girls also got the chance to perfect their walks on top of Blue Fin Building with a view overlooking the entire city and some of its greatest landmarks.

With catwalks revised down to perfection, the girls were then ready for their next task at a secret location – a flashmob at one of the city’s busiest location: The Millennium Bridge. Like any other challenge that was thrown at them, the girls intrepidly and without any hesitation worked that bridge (that if we may add, was heaving with crowd passing through in rush-hour!) like it was just any other catwalk!
